Pack and fulfill

After a batch is picked, it moves to the packing stage. The pack screen shows all orders in the batch with their line items, quantities, and customer shipping details.

During packing, you can enter package weight and dimensions for each order. This information is sent to Shopify when the order is fulfilled and can be used for shipping label generation.

You can fulfill orders individually or use bulk fulfill to complete all orders in a batch at once. Bulk fulfill is ideal when all orders are packed and ready to ship.

Once fulfilled, the orders are marked as fulfilled in Shopify and the customer receives a shipping notification email. The batch status updates to "fulfilled" in BinHQ.

Handling cancellations and refunds

If an order is cancelled in Shopify while it is part of an active batch, BinHQ will flag the order in the batch. The picker will see a notification that the order has been cancelled and can skip those items.

For orders that have already been picked but not fulfilled, you can remove them from the batch and return the items to their bins. The order will not be fulfilled in Shopify.

Refunds processed in Shopify after fulfillment do not affect the batch in BinHQ. The batch remains marked as fulfilled. Inventory adjustments from refunds are handled through Shopify's inventory management.
